Owner and President of Douglas Development Group, Inc., April 1997 to Present
Douglas Development Group, Inc. was founded to offer relationship based Real Estate Development and Consulting services to domestic and international firms. We have developed more than one million square feet of office and warehouse space. One of our current projects, Plantation Key Office Park, has recently been completed and is being offered for sale or lease. Our current residential project, Four Seasons Preserve, is a 12 lot, 427 acre ranch style residential subdivision located in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
President of Easton-Babcock Development, Inc., February 1995 - April 1997
Primary responsibilities included setting up Easton-Babcock with systems, procedures, and personnel necessary to complete projects such as International Corporate Park. International Corporate Park is a 300-acre, master planned business park, located in the Airport West Corridor of Miami. International Corporate Park is 4.3 million square feet of office, manufacturing, and warehouse/distribution facilities. Responsibilities included the development, construction, financing, marketing and sales activities for existing projects and generating new development opportunities throughout the Florida market.
Vice President of the Codina Group, January 1990 - February 1995
Supervised all facets of the Beacon Centre, an award-winning business and industrial park of 2.5 million square feet of warehouse/distribution, retail, office and flex space. In 1994, Beacon Centre developed, constructed and leased 420,000 square feet of warehouse/distribution space and 30,000 square feet of retail space at market setting rental rates. This still represents a record-setting level of activity for the project.
Supervised the financing, development, construction and sales activity of Deering Bay Yacht and Country Club, a $250 million luxury condominium, golf and marina development on Biscayne Bay. Established the infrastructure, amenity package and the first two residential phases.
